Get to Know Me!
I am a student completing my senior year at the UC San Diego majoring in Cognitive Science, specializing in HCI. My dream is to have a career as a UX Research.
My Passions:
I enjoy hiking with my dog Ace, and I love nature. I currently have the pleasure of serving as the Co-President of Torrey Pines Edible Garden (soon to be 7th's Community Garden), which is a UCSD campus garden. Myself and a few other students work to help encourage sustainability and give other Transfer students a greater sense of community on campus.
My Experiences:
My love for animals has led me to volunteer at the Norco Animal Shelter and intern at the local Animal and Bird Hospital. I have also been able to volunteer at the Mt. San Antonio College Equestrian Center during my community college experience. My experiences volunteering have helped me to get an internship and a job that allow me to serve my community, such as the Jurupa Community Services District and most recently the San Diego County Office of Education. With the SD County Office of Education, myself and other university students traveled throughout San Diego County teaching students about the science of Watersheds and our environmental impact on our local wildlife.
